BritBargain is an online store operated through the Shopify platform. By accessing or using our website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (“T&Cs”). If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

1. Definitions

  • T&Cs: Refers to these Terms and Conditions of Use.
  • User Account: A personal account allowing registered Users to manage personal data, purchase history, and addresses.
  • Credentials: Username and password chosen by the User for login access.
  • Service: Online purchase and customer services provided through britbargain.com.
  • Site: Refers to the website www.britbargain.com.
  • User: Any adult individual or legal entity who creates an account or interacts with the Site.
  • Visitor: Any individual accessing the Site without registering or purchasing.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site or placing an order, you accept these T&Cs without reservation. They are made available via a checkbox during registration or checkout. BritBargain may update these T&Cs at any time. Continued use of the Site following changes implies acceptance.

3. Access to the Site

The Site is accessible free of charge to anyone with internet access. All equipment and connection costs are the User’s responsibility.

4. Registration

Creating an account is free and restricted to individuals over 18. Users must provide accurate and truthful information. BritBargain reserves the right to deny, suspend or delete any account found in violation of these terms.

5. Account Suspension or Deletion

Users can request account deletion via email at support@britbargain.com. Accounts may also be suspended or deleted by BritBargain for inactivity, false information, or breach of T&Cs.

6. User Obligations

Users agree not to engage in illegal, offensive, or malicious activity on the Site. Any attempt to hack, copy, disrupt, or reproduce the Site’s content without permission is strictly prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is protected by UK intellectual property laws. Reproduction or use without prior written permission from BritBargain is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is” and may be subject to interruptions, delays, or errors beyond our control. BritBargain is not liable for damage arising from site usage, technical issues, or reliance on information provided.

9. Force Majeure

BritBargain is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its control, including but not limited to strikes, floods, pandemics, regulatory changes, or server outages.

10. Cookies

By using the Site, Users consent to the use of cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Users may disable cookies via browser settings, though some features may be impacted.

11. SMS Communications

By opting into SMS notifications, you agree to receive order updates, marketing messages, and service alerts. You may opt out anytime by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. For help, contact support@britbargain.com.

12. Electronic Records

Electronic actions such as checkbox confirmations are legally binding and serve as proof of agreement under UK law, including the United Kingdom Utilities Contract Regulation 2016.

13. Severability

If any provision of these T&Cs is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. BritBargain will replace invalid clauses with legally valid ones where necessary.

14. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes will be handled by UK courts. Complaints must be sent within 30 days to support@britbargain.com.
